07586 Schlingmann TLF 16/25 Mercedes Benz Atego 1529 AF

The Fire Brigades come in action not only in case of fire or road accident, but also by chemical problems, flood or any possible disaster.

The Schlingmann TLF16/25 (TLF = Tanklöschfahrzeug - Water tender), built on a "Daimler Chrysler MB Atego 1529 AF" base, bridges the time until the regular water supply is ready, or is used as a shuttle to bring water to remote places without water adduction.

Conforming to the norm, the water tanks carries at least 2400 litres, which are fed to a 10bar high pressure pump delivering 2000 litres par minute.

The 279 HP engine coupled to an all-wheel transmission helps reaching easily the least accessible parts of the forests.

The TLF16/25 is fitted for a large variety of tasks, not only fire interventions or road accidents; beside the usual hardware, it carries specialised appliances.

The ladders are carried on the roof, with an extendible, rotating illumination mast.
